This tool is built to ask for as little of your data as possible. Here is exactly what happens when you use it.

Your photos stay on your device

Resizing and metadata editing both happen locally in your browser using the Canvas API and a small JavaScript EXIF library. No photo is ever transmitted to a server, saved in a database, or seen by anyone running this site.

Location data is taken out, never added

The converter does not read or send any GPS information from your original photo, and it does not write location data into the converted file either.

No sign in, no tracking tied to your photos

There is no account required to use this tool, and the photo files themselves are never linked to any identifier, login, or analytics event.

This site may show ads served through Google AdSense. Google and its partners may use cookies to serve ads based on your past visits to this or other sites. You can adjust or opt out of personalized ads through Google's Ads Settings page.

External resources this page loads

Fonts and a small open source EXIF library are loaded from public CDNs, Google Fonts and cdnjs, purely so the tool can render and function. These requests fetch code and fonts only, never your photos.
